Our dear friends Adam and Lauren got engaged this October! When they asked if I would shoot some photos of them around the city and in their home, I jumped at the chance. This was my first engagement shoot, and I had a great time hopping around Chicago to celebrate these two!
How cute is their dog, Fletcher? Fun fact: he is named after the street where they first lived together. A Viszla full of energy, he did such a great job posing for photos—except for being terrified of the bridge. Sorry Fletch!
This is the magical spot, ladies and gentlemen! This bridge is where Adam proposed. On a rainy Wednesday night on their walk to dinner, completely to Lauren’s surprise, Adam paused here to “take in the view” and then dropped to one knee and asked Lauren if she would spend the rest of her life with him. He arranged for all their closest friends and family to be waiting for them at the bar for dinner. It was such a fun night. Thank you guys for letting us celebrate this special moment with you!
